It is a common custom in Brazil to arrive late for a dinner or a party. If you are invited to a dinner you can arrive up to 30 minutes late. If it is for a party or other type of large gathering you can arrive up to an hour late. When deciding on what to wear to a gathering or a dinner, it is always better to err on the side of dressing overly formal. Brazilians care deeply about their clothing.

I have been working with several of the missionaries through my church. I have always dreamed of one day getting to go and see the places that they do their work. This year, I have decided that I am going to take advantage of some extra time that I have away from my job and go and see the families that we support in Brazil and in Sydney.

I met so many interesting people, tried new foods that I would have never imagined myself eating and seen some sights that I will never be able to recapture for as long as I live. I would have to recommend the trip to Brazil to anyone looking for an exciting and adventurous trip. It was so exciting that it is part of the reason that I want to go to Greece next. I figure that I will be able to relax and recover from all of the fun that I had on the previous trip.

I will be leaving for this next trip in about three months and cannot wait to see all of the things that there are to see there. Life is too short to spend sitting in an office or in my living room watching it all on TV.

I had not ridden a bicycle in years. Then we went on a vacation to Brazil and were a bit frustrated getting around some places. We rented a couple of touring bicycles as an experiment.
